Wizard neck help

My first RG was a 98 RG520. The neck was my ideal shred neck. The 98 catalog lists it only as "Wizard," but it is definitely different from the Wizard neck I had on my 1990 RG550. I never owned them both at the same time so I couldn't A/B them, but it seemed that the 520 neck, in addition to having the bubinga stripe, was a bit wider. My fingers often "fell off" the high E string on my 550 which is one of the reasons we parted ways. Of course the 520 also had a rosewood board rather than maple, but I'm more interested in the dimensions than the materials.

I'd like another RG with the same neck, but to try something different from the 520. I like the 570 idea of having a rosewood fingerboard and direct mounted pickups on the even toned basswood body. Do any 570's have the same neck that the 1998 520's had?

The neck you had on your 1990 RG550 known as Wizard, is in 1990 a 1piece maple(89-96). On your RG520 from 98 the neck is Superwizard (3-piece maple/bubinga). They have the same dimentions exept that your 550 is a little (1mm) wider at last fret.
So yes RG570 from 1997-2002 got the same neck.

I can confirm this too since the neck on my '98 520 is stamped 570.
