Yeah. Looking around at other peoples pictures on ebay it looks like the rg570's with the block heel have the original edge and the ones with the aanj have the lo-pro. So i am guessing its an rg570 with edge and block heel.

Yeah. I've been looking closely at my RG370 and basically the difference between that and a 1991 570 is simply the plastic parts (trem and electronic cavity backplates, and the output jack). On mine they're not recessed into the body and it's the plastic square
jack plate
. I think it also has V6 series pickups instead of V8.

lately the whole RG-5XX was reverted to conventional Edge, instead of the lo-pro, am I wrong?

Yes you are wrong :P As of 2003, they now have a completely different, newly-designed bridge called the Edge Pro on Japanese RGs, and the Edge Pro II (same basic design as Edge Pro but made of cheaper metals) on Korean ones.

I believe what he meant by lately is that from like 1996 to 2002 they had the Edge, not the LoPro.
That would be lately.
So, when you think about it, there should be far more RG570's with the Edge, than ones with the LoPro.

I recently purchased a brand new, blowout, rg570 manufactured in 2002 with a powder cosmo original Edge.

bingo!! toshiro...you took the works right out of my mouth. lo-pros on the 5xx series are fewer an far between than an edge. the way that you can date them by looking is
neck joints
and color. late 80's early 90's rg-500s were black edges, 96-2000(?) were like cosmo, and before the edge 2's were the more powder coats with some straggling cosmo.

Petie, you're completely off. WAYYYYY off.
I have 2 RG570's, both with the AANJ, 1 is a 1998, the other a 2002
they both have original edge.

Whoops. I thought the AANJ was introduced in the 1992 catalogue. Serves me right for putting turpentine in my coffee.
