ZPS bridge in indonesiana nd korean guitars where is it made?
asked someone in the store but is not sure where the zr bridge is made.
how is the quality of the bridge?
I'm planning putting it in my rg I know it will need a lot of work but I want to customize my guitar
inputs much appreciated...

They're made in Korea, but I could also be wrong. But the quality is great. It's probably the best bridge I've played so far and I like it much better then Edge pro or Floyd rose original.

lol how funny I am going to do the same thing on my next build. I am hoping to get some actually a few prints laid out so I have all the proper measurments. I am either going to mod it by hand or slap it on a vertical mill or a 6 axis and let er ripp.

Better then the Edge Pro?? or the Edge?? I have to get me one then for sure. when I first heard the concept I thought (from a drawing concept) It all added up to be a far superior trem in every possible aspect. I have heard issues people have with them. We people are funny, A item can actually be the exact same, function exactly the same, but we in our heads believe its inferior, and all of a sudden somehow the item transforns into crap. It wont keep tune, it is to spongy or stiff etc..
I thought i'd point that but of humanity out to everyone.

Hi there,

for me it is simply the best double locking system I played in the last 20 years, so I don't care at all, where it is built.

I ripped out the two extra springs though for having it floating.

I am quite impressed with it the ZR bridge in mine. From what everyone talks here, I had expected the ZR to have some trouble to keep tuning after a lot of crazy whammy bar action, but it is rock solid. I sometimes get the guitar to jam for a while and after 2/3 hours of jamming it is still in perfect tune. I also use it in full floating mode.

In fact, I expected a lot more grief for an Indonesian built guitar. Have not complaints as far as build quality goes. Only trouble, as I have mentioned before, are the pickups.

I also love the fact that if I have to adjust the spring tension, I only have to turn a knob instead of opening the cavity, getting a screwdriver and adjusting the screws to do it

Hi,

I find that it doesn't have as much range as a knife edge trem going from full depressed to full pull up, but damn is it smooth!!! I set mine fully floating, I find it a little 'different' to do the thing where you repeatedly tap the bar (sorry I can't explain that better)

Mine seriously stays in tune so good it's better than most fixed bridge guitars!!! (that's with heavy gigging and jumping around stage antics)

I wish I had one on my RG or the very least the thumb/spring thing on the back, that things' a god send!
