ZR Trem height adjust?

Hey,

Just got an '03 s470. Nice guitar, but the action is way high. The instructions say to change the trem height by moving the studs with an allen wrench. They don't seem to want to move, and I'm wondering if the nuts around the studs have to be loosened first.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. It's my first Ibanez trem!

Responding to my own thread. Yeah, you need to loosen the nuts. Don't know why they didn't say this in the "manual". Maybe it's supposed to be obvious...

Hello,
the height adjust of ZR is easy.
You don't have to loose nuts. You only have to move studs with an allen wrench. If you move studs, the nuts will move together.

But once you loosen the nuts, you must tighten them hard.

Thanks

OK, with a login of "ZRMaster", I'm sure you know more about this than me. All I'm saying is it really felt like something was going to break before I loosened the nuts...
