zr trem questions

iv'e just ordered an s470 (which hopefully will arrive tomorrow) after playing one in a shop last week. Though im getting a little concerned regarding trem breakages after reading a few posts on this site. Just wondered if anyone has some advice to avoid breakages or improve playability. Also what are your thoughts on the ZR

well the guitar has arrived and i must say im very impressed, this is my first ibanez and the factory set up is spot on, ive owned a couple of low-mid priced guitars before and 1st impressions are very good even next to my les paul which i never thought anything would come close to. As for the trem it seems very solid so i'll just wait and see

I've had my s470 for over a year and a half and i slap the bar for flutter, hit it for quick dive bombs and **** at it all for fun and so far nothing has broken for me. I play it free floating, so maybe the backstop has something to do with breaking bars more cause its adding more stress IMO.
