1979 gold/gold Fender Strat. This thing ROCKS!!!

My uncle has this strat, which he will NOT sell me, and I can't take it from him 'cause, well, he's my uncle, so I'm screwed.

The serial number is CA 11308 and the paint is gold metal flake, and all hardware is gold right down to the screws. The headstock has the 70's logo and STRATOCASTER typeface, but it's a small headstock, so that throws me off right there.





It's insanely heavy, which makes me think it's gotta be mahogany. Thought some of you guitar heads would like this sucker. I've never seen another like it. Sounds and plays RAD.

Hey Chad, Yeah I am a big Fender Strat lover myself. I love the things and think that everyone needs one in their collection. I am a sucker for the 70's strats in that cream colour ala Yngwie. They just do it for me!
I also love the strats that Iron Maiden use, and love the sound they get out of them too! There is just something about a nice strat with maple fretboard.......
