3 new ones....Zion Radicaster and 2 Robin Medleys
I've been pretty busy with work and other crap lately, so I haven't had time to post these ones up.
This first one is a really nice Zion Radicaster. It's surprisingly light IMO. This one has three EMG SA's with the 18 volt mod. I'm not a big fan of single coils, but this one with the 18v mod and the mid boost onboard doesn't sound thin or anemic at all.
Next up is a 94 US made Robin Medley. While cosmetically it's in player's condition, this thing in every other way is a monster. Just a killer metal/shred guitar. This one's gonna be sticking around for awhile.
Last up is another Robin. This one here is an MIJ Medley. These ones were produced in the Fujigen plant by ESP, from everything I've heard. This one is different from the US made one, much more reminiscent of an Ibby in vibe and feel. The body is slightly larger and less contoured than the black one.

I like the Zion Radicaster. I've also seen this particular finish in blue. It's called 'Marble frost' iirc? It's a very beautiful guitar, although it seems kind of small to me.
Anyway, congrats.

Here's that blue frosted marble I was referring to. It's very very beautiful.

Here
is the thread I found the pic. There's a bit of talk about Zions.

Yup, that blue one belongs to a good friend of mine. I tried a few times to get a trade going with him, but he's not letting it go anytime soon though....can't say as I blame him.
The thing about that finish is it's got a ton of green in it......it just doesn't look like it in that pic.

Rob Winter (Marco Borsato) used to play a blue Zion aswell. Not sure if it was this exact same model though. Looks more like a figured maple...

You can kind of see the green at the edges. I didn't notice until you mentioned it, though.
In my search for a trem equipped axe I once considered getting a purple Zion, but it has 22 frets. It's a beautiful guitar, though.

Yeah, I know. I've seen him play one on TV.
I can't stand Marco Borsato.
