'85 cort LP copy info?!?!?

Got a friend selling his dads old cort LP copy from 85 looks like a kahler trem and looks like a LP custom. Anyone know what they are made of?? Plywood? ect I cant find much info just that they were tagged cort or horner and sold back in the day. Do they sound ok?!?! I dont know if I should get it......

Ugh! Not for THAT price! that's one of those Kahler ripoffs that they used on the J.B. Players, back then, and not a real Kahler. I think I'd pass on it, if I were you. You can get a much better used guitar for that price.

lol actually that was the hang tag from 1985, ya bought it was plywood and a crappy knock off, found a buyer though and sold it again (he had the exact guitar years ago and wanted it BAD) So I broke even! $75.00
