Re: a real hair metal flashback guitar

I think the coolest thing about those days, was they didn't give a **** what anybody thought !! Should be a resurrection of that today, too many people wanna be like somebody else, its alot more fun to be yourself and then have people wanna be like you, all the people criticizing those guys and their songs, haircuts etc, still knew all the words to their songs, why ? cause they all went Platinum , everyones entitled to their opinion, but for me if a bands selling songs, there doing what they set out to do and havin fun to boot and their the ones laughing, maybe it will come back maybe it wont, I think the music was rockin, it was a little scary though when the guys in the band had more make up on than there female audience, my thoughts !! sambo

Re: a real hair metal flashback guitar

Aah, those were the days, I was fully a part of that scene. I had hairspray, cowboy boots, the whole deal. Had a Kramer Baretta, then a turquoise HM strat, then went all Ibanez.

I once travelled quite a way to try out one of the first Gunslingers to arrive in the UK because Tracii Guns from LA Guns played one. To this day, it's the worst guitar I ever played, closely followed by a Washburn WI-66Pro just before Xmas 2008.
