Agile, Ephiphone or LTD

I am looking to spend $500- $600 on a Les Paul style guitar. I have played Epiphone and LTD and find them to be very similiar in quality and fit and finish. How does Agile compare to these? The prices are great, but there is no way to play them before buying.

From all reports Agiles and Epiphone are of an equal match, and some even better, especially the 3000 or 2500 series. oh, and that fretless looks really fun to play, especially at that price.

IMO epihones are the best looking ones, I´ve never played and agile lp but I´d choose an epiphone with maple top

I am leaning towards the Ephiphone, they have a huge variety of finishes to choose from. I hear good things about Agile, but I am leary since I have never played one.

I have it narrowed down to the Epiphone Prophecy and the ESP LTD EC-500. I haven't been able to find the Prophecy anywhere locally, so I haven't played it. Anyone have experience with these?
