Hi everybody !

Is it someone else here that think the new 2006 Alexi Laiho ESP/LTD's are absolutely stunning ?
I played on the White LTD version today, and think that it Rocked my Sock's !!

I just have to disagree. I'm not diggin' the pickup whatsoever and I would rather pick up a real Rhoads.

haha that's like a mix of randy and a swirl!!
I think it's soo cool, thought im not a fan of the h/s/h pickup config (still i love ibanez guitars :O ) and i really don't like only 1 volume pot and nothing else. But hey it looks wicked!!!!!

But HZs? I cant believe a pro guitarist and a very expensive guitar has them. They sound like crap!

Yeah, true. But still a expensive guitar like that shouldn't really have HZ's.

Re: Alexi Laiho signature model

if im not totally in to the wrong direction I think he talked about those gain boosters and said that Hz pickups sounds better with those than the active does.. Don't ask me why but there is something in my mind tells me that it could be right, or totally wrong and yes, Hz pickups sounds pretty bad..

actually I must say I have no idea, after thinking a while(...), but still i like his sound though I don't think he is that good.

Re: Alexi Laiho signature model

Is there any difference between the LTD and ESP version? I am looking at them on the site and I can't find one difference other than the logo...and the tuners/strap locks

Re: Alexi Laiho signature model

chances are the ESP version has a much more limited run and is hand built to better precision.
