Zoot,

make a trip accross teh Pennines to Sounds Great Music, Heald Green nrea Manchester Airport. They have a great selection of Andersons, Suhrs, Tyler and Grosh...... and sometimes have a few use in. Check out their web and definitely check out Suhrs!!

Good luck

Re: Anderson Droptop .

Mate,

I thought I might of had an Anderson back in the UK.... but I called my friend who looks after my stuff just now, and I must of traded it at some point!!

I do have a Suhr (H-H Quilt top) and a Melancon (H-S-S Flame top) that I wasn't thinking of selling really, that don't get too much playtime, They are the closest I have to an Anderson. But they aren't in the UK unfortunately at the moment.... Shipping charges would probably make it unworthwhile.

Think of the exchange rate at the moment (2 USD to 1 GBP) and order one from a US dealer specced out just like you want it

Re: Anderson Droptop .

Definitely check out Sounds Great although they don't carry a great range of Anderson's. If you go to SG you'll walk out with a Suhr - guaranteed !! They've had some models for some time now so you might be able to get a good price if you haggle - maybe even as cheap as importing and you'd have it by Xmas

If you have to have an Anderson check out Coda Music in Stevenage.

+1 on that, I think the Suhrs are a bit nicer than the Andersons. Nothing wrong with the Anderson mind you, but with the exchange rate and Matt's pricing I'd go with a Suhr as well.
