Another New Guitar Day

Okay, they're not for everybody, but as you start getting on and realise you should probably be thinking of life as a country chicken picker, a Tele has to become part of the arsenal - I was lucky enough to find this little beauty in a local store - Fender Japan Dr K signature Telecaster in (apparently) ultra rare Aztec Gold - how could I refuse!!!!






Maybe a set of Joe Barden pickups and she'll be just a killer!

hmm - judging by the third picture, the pickup mounting springs might be a tad short........

well, an excuse to pull it apart and check out the innards at last!

i have fallen for the gold lately. i want another Tele at some point and i LOVE the dbl binding and the three pup configuration. congrats you lucky man!!!

get a tortoise pickguard.. It looks stellar with Aztec I didnt think it would but it does..

I'd swap out the guard/lace sensors/switch and get a regular tele neck pup in there. Would look awesome
