Another one in the collection - lots of pics

They come and go quick round here eh? This was a stright trade for the PRS SE - I do love that guitar, but I can buy another one of them. This however is a little more rare, a patrick eggle bolt on - not something you see every day. A great sounding guitar with biiig les paul sounds without the foul (IMO) les paul playability. The neck was finished, but its been sanded flat on the back (the actual playing area).
This particular guitar is pre-lawsuit (PRS sued them, apparently. I think I can see why! :P )
This is the only guitar Ive owned with a rosewood board that I actually liked - got some cool stripes in it and its VERY tight and smooth.

Andy i once had a guitar almost identicle to that Dad is happy too ... To futher elaborate, The headstock was the MAIN reasoning for the lawsuit against Patrick Eggle, There were 5 of these made as Pre-Production, prototype models, 3 set necks, and 2 bolt ons, This and a Cherry red version (still haggling to purchase that one :-) ) According to Patrick, They made a few differant neck profiles and basically what you have was going to be produced, Then PRS take the "design" to the courts ... As another interesting quirk, the logo was designed AFTER these were built, hence the differance ...

Yes it's loud too, and i'll agree, the rosewood board is very VERY pretty ... I must have a dig about, i have some Eggle stamped cavity cover material, if found i'll pop it off to you ... I do still have the wiring diagrams if you ever need any help in that department

I do miss it to be honest, Take good care bro, and if you ever come to the point your thinking of selling of getting rid, please just drop me a line ...

Regards, and enjoy it dude, My family did ;-)
