I had a bolt plus. I sold it to get a drum set for my son. If he didn't want drums, I would still have it.
I thought it was really good. The guitar was easy to play, resonated well, and I liked it more than a Fender, but that was my preference. They have recently taken the graphite rods out of the neck. Apparently the new truss rods they use, and the fact that they season the neck wood longer, make the graphite rods pointless. This will probably make the necks a little warmer sounding.
I think you will like the purchase. I plan on getting a new one at some point to replace the one I traded away. I will get a bolt plus H-S-S kit and make the lower cutout deeper. Then it will be pretty much identical to the new Dean
Vinnie Moore. Also have to add the
stainless steel frets. My Parker has spoiled me.
