thinking of trading a RR3 for an EBMM SUB1, what do you guys think?

I've played several at stores, and loved them!

And i use their strings religiously.

I lurrrve them, although i haven't had any experience with that model, only the jp6 and morse models.

Ernie Ball makes a great product. And they stand behind their products also.
If you have a problem you can call the factory in California and they will take care of you.

When it comes to standing behind their product, THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry. I do like the look of most of their other models though. I haven't had the chance to try any out but I would really love to try them.

They have something for everyone sounds/feel wise, quality is top notch, and customer service is second to none. I would not hesitate to buy a Musicman again. I rocked an Axis for many years, played a few Petrucci's that were awesome too. If you're going for the Ibanez shred vibe, the Petrucci is a great option.

I really love how Petrucci ibbz looked like.

Why would you abbreviate Ibanez, and add an extra "b"?

I had an EB/MM JP7 and thought it was great, and I had a SUB bass briefly, also a great instrument. I'm thinking about grabbing a JP6 for my next guitar. They may not be the best looking, but if you are more concerned with feel, playability, and craftsmanship, they are definitely worth checking out. If it were me I'd do the trade in a second.

I have a Luke and it kills! I ordered it - they made it - I got it - I play it. It's only ever had my hands on it. No one else's. Best feeling neck ever and it doesn't pick up RF like a Strat will. It's really quiet.

i would keep the jackson if it were my guitar.

although, i'm not too hip on ebmm guitars either so take my advice with a grain of salt.

either way, let us know what you decide to do.
