There's tons of stuff out on the net about Matsumoku, including a page in
Wikipedia. My personal opinion of the quality of the work done in that factory is that it was largely acceptable, but rarely better than that. I wouldn't pay for a guitar out of that factory with so many better quality instruments also readily available. Play before you buy, so you know what you're getting.
