Awesome little deal on Pacificas
Gak.co.uk has got a deal on here...
http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/...fica112mx/1272
Check out the spec. I'm pretty tempted to grab a hold of one of these because I've played a couple of Pacificas over the years and they're pretty tasty guitars ESPECIALLY for the price.
Maple fretboard
?
Alder body
? yes please!
The hardware isn't particularly impressive, neither is the pickups, but that would make this a great project guitar.
All for £139
Veeeery tempted...
Hopefully someone snags one

Re: Awesome little deal on Pacificas
My 1st guitar was a Pacifica 012.
The model previous to the 112, and it was the best guitar I could ever have learned on. I was so grateful for my old guitar tutor recommending me it, because it payed-off when I was first learning.
My friend had a 112 with the
rosewood fretboard
, and it was even better than the 012 that I owned. They are really sweet guitars actually, with a very nice neck profile I remember.
But this is a great little deal yeah, especially for someone just learning or to throw around as a project.

Re: Awesome little deal on Pacificas
'Awesome deal' is a bit of an overstatement. Thats pretty much the standard online price for a pacifica 112. Thomann will ship one to the uk for 145GBP.

Re: Awesome little deal on Pacificas
Not a bad price at all.
They're also doing the Jackson JS-1 and JS20 for £159. I can vouch that the Jackson JS range is amazing value for money. I've even gigged my JS30 and it stood up realy well.

Re: Awesome little deal on Pacificas
Dude, I'd say go for it! I own a PAC604W and it sounds and plays amazing. The neck is so great... And soundwise, the guitar has a lot of character. You can't go wrong with a Pacifica.

Re: Awesome little deal on Pacificas
Pacificas are GREAT. My friend has a huge collection of the relatively older American made Pacificas. They are great, almost of J-Custom quality.

Re: Awesome little deal on Pacificas
Anyone know what years they had them with the funky 3/4 pickguard that didn't have the humbucker mounted in it? I prefer the way they look than the typical strat pickguard they now offer. Judging from when I remember them new, it was pre-2000 I am guessing 1995-2000, but would like more accurate info than my memory. I always wanted one of the cheapo PAC 112's with maple fretboard, satin finished stained body.
