My familiarity with this guitar was my 2 or 3 minutes with it at the NAMM show in January. It's an okay guitar...unfortunately Warlocks were not my first choice of shapes, but this was comfy. Not overly neck heavy. The frets were nicely done and it played great. The only drawback was that I was absolutely terrified of the headstock. The B.C. Rich widow headstock is really thin for such a wide peghead and just begs to be knocked off. I've reglued alot of dropped Rich's in my shop...just a really thin joint.

I could make a joke about beheading Virgins but I'm above that.

Re: BC Rich Mick Thomson Signature

To me, the thing is a Ferrari, but Mick wasn't too happy with them; they sent him one every month, and each one had something wrong with it. Usually little stuff like the frets being not quite right, or the electronics were a little funny. Not stuff that most people would notice, but a $5000 custom shop instrument really should be perfect.
