Best cheap PRS copy..?

Hallo there..
What cheap PRS copy would you recmmand..in a price range 400$ top..?
I am searching for a :

mahagony body,

24 frets,

trem,

2 hums..

Agile PS series looks for sure nicest to me so far.the PS-970 would be the one..since it is floyd equipped..
Another one that i have found are Vitage VRS100..but they are not mahagony, but east poplar bodied..but have wilkinson hardware..
Samick has nice ones..but no trem..

Any opinions are welcome..!
Thank you!

Why are so many people concerned with getting a copy of the guitar they like and want? Go for the real thing! in the end it will be worth it. It doesn't make sense to me to settle for less.

Well, not everyone has 2500-3000 to spend. But alot of people have 200-400 to spend. And alot of people just want a guitar with the same, or similar body shape.

PRS are so pricey. I played a few back in the day but never could afford one, that plus I like Ibanez better. A friend of mine picked one up that is very nice but he paid 2400+ for it used. Expensive. Nice guitars though.

Gee..man..are you listening to yourself..???
Do you think that everyone has so much money..?
And, actually..i would never give so much money for the guitar..a decent copy would be perfectly fine..cause i like the body very much..it has that classy and mature look..probably because its carved + quilted..
And SE doesn't fit into my price range..
So.back to the topic..
So, any copy recomandations..?

You might even learn something while putting it together.

Re: Best cheap PRS copy..?

I like the Schecter Exotic series. Ive seen them used for a little under $600, but it is seriously a really high quality guitar for the price. I had a Schecter C1 plus, and it was middle of the road and a little cheap, but the Exotic is nothing like their other guitars.

Check these out, not bad for the price

But you're probably better saving up a bit more for a PRS SE

Apparently, PRS SE's are made by the same guys that do the Samick guitars, and I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

The best PRS-a-like you can get for cheap without a shadow of a doubt is Patrick Eggle guitars.

Re: Best cheap PRS copy..?

the vintage VRS's are very good for the money. The only flaw is the tend to over do the binding a bit, but generally are very good. so my thumbs up for one of them!

I think Raven guitars are the best copy. They are IMHO the best kept secret in the guitar world. If you watch evilbay you can find a great deal.
