Bought guitar # 15

well, i went to cherry hill to take my hollowbody guitar to get serviced and stopped at GC to browse around. I seen a telecaster guitar which i liked so i tried it out. It is a samick greg bennett telecaster and it was used for 149.00. i played around a bit on it and fell in love immediately. maple neck, nice bridge, nice tuners, great clean glassy sound with moderate distortion. this guitar isnt made for blasting extremely aggressive guitar riffs, but that is ok by me here is a pic from the samick website.i'll try to snap a few new pics when i get off work. figured i would let everyone know to keep an eye on some samick guitars. they are very nice and worth the check.

this purchase got me my 15th guitar

Re: Bought guitar # 15

yeah..i actually found another online and am getting it as well. i really like these guitars. they play much nicer and sound alot better than most of the fender MIM teles i have played. im not really a fan of MIM guitars though. I would still take a MIA or MIJ fender anyday..

i did also get a MIJ fender body from evilbay to start another project.

still need to get
fender MIJ neck and tuners
bridge
EMG DG20 pickup assembly
matching backplate

Why is the bridge pickup so far away from the bridge?

Re: Bought guitar # 15

the backplate is the white pearl, to match the pickguard on the DG20..
oh, i got the above tele for 120, not the 149 which was smacked on the guitar.
