Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher Signatures.

Bill

Anyone else heard about these? I think they're gorgeous guitars.
However i don't think they're available for purchase...and if you wanted to make one in the shape of Brent's i think you need to meet some requirement that they have.
On another note: How are first act? I've heard their band instruments (trumpets etc) are complete and utter crap, but never heard about the guitars.
Not that I'm interested in one (save for Brents). I love my S5470.

Even though I don't listen to
Mastodon
, I'd like to ask how many times you see them whip out their first act guitars as their main axe for stage? I'm pretty sure they use Gibsons mostly, the first act sig was probably made to get more people to buy first act guitars and to make a cheap guitar for Mastodon lovers

Man you are a piece of work Still upset ?

It’s a distinctively arranged 9-string guitar: three strings on the bass side and six on the treble side, with each treble string doubled for that chorused twelve-string guitar sound.

This guitar: 6 string.

Since I think they're both **** ugly, I do heartily apologize for not checking both and going by memory instead.
Also, I fail to see how thats so incredibly innovative when BC rich have made the Bich 10 string, which is exactly the ****ing same idea with one extra string, for over 20 years. When I think 'innovative 9 string' I think more along the lines of Conklin or blackmachine type stuff frankly, where the range is vastly extended and new engineering and design ideas have had to be implemented to bring the best out of them.
On the other hand, its more than likely that you're just looking to have a right good go at someone.

Not really. I was more annoyed at the way everyone seems to look for arguments here. While I think first act make some utterly FUGLY guitars they're not aimed at me anyway, so why get annoyed about it.

Yeah i think I've seen Brent use the first act once, in the video for "colony of birchmen"
and having looked at them again, they're not really all that great. I like Brent's, but Bill's is just...meh.
