Brian Moore i9-13...any thoughts

There's a store around here selling a Brian Moore i9 13 pin w/piezo pickups for $950.00...I think I can get it a bit less than that. I like their stuff, having worked for a dealer about 8 years ago, but never owned one. Anyone have thoughts on these.

I'm looking for a midi capable guitar, I just want to make sure there isn't a less expensive yet better one I should know about...

Thanks in advance.

I think that Brian Moores are completely underrated guitars. The materials that go into the guitars are topnotch and they do not skemp on electronics.

I would love to own another one, and regret selling mine.

You won't go wrong with the guitar. Just shop around, because they are not very popular guitars and you can really get some great deals on them.

I'm going to go today to find out what they'll do on it. List I think is $1995.00...I'm going to offer something like eight hundred something so we'll see...

I have one. I'd have to say it's about my least favorite guitar. (Comparing to USA ESP custom, JEM, Prestige S-series). I always had trouble getting a good sound out of it for me. That said, I've played it plenty with my Roland GR-33. The guitar looks great. It looks like you are getting a good price, I paid way more back a few years ago. I think these are made in Korea.

Re: Brian Moore i9-13...any thoughts

i have an i1F...have great materials into it. But to be honest, im not impressed with the feel. I bought it for a great price and its a great backup. But my Jackson select blows it away. Only real flaw as far as materials go is the LFR.
But hey try it before you buy it. It might feel great to u.
As far as finding a MIDI guitar...good luck man. Brian Moore, Fender and Roland are the only companies i know that do it (short of a custom shop of course). I'd go with Brian Moore if these were my choices. I too would like to find one for my GR-50, hate having to use my divided pickup.

I've always wanted to try one out. They make seemingly nice instruments.

Here we go I finally got off my lazy butt and took a few crappy pictures (sorry for the quality, as well as the equally crappy background and placement)

It's a pretty cool guitar and I like it well enough especially with the Roland GR20, but it doesn't take the place of my 77FP

Nics find. I had a "I 1.13" built for me a few years ago (neck thru) and I like it a lot. Took almost 8 months to get, but it was worth the wait. Very versitile guitar, you can get as many a 3 distinctly different sounds at a time out of it at a time. That is fun.

Played though my Bose PAS it will rattle the house.
