Buckethead Signature Les Paul - official photos

Hopefully I'll have one on order later this week. It looks like it could be the ultimate shredder's Les Paul. Also imagine the down-tuning options with this beast!

These are the official shots from Gibson;

Looks like more of a "Les Pail" to me (Buckethead, geddit)
or given the colour a "Les Pale" (I crack me up!")
Needs a better heel to access all 24 frets maybe?

I LOVE the big arcade machine buttons. Not sure why it has two kill switches though. 24 frets + ebony fretboard + jumbo frets = awesome.

Thanks Gibson! Now just make the damn thing affordable...*looks at price*...oh wait, nevermind.

I think the kill switches should be white or chrome...

Street price should be around $2.5k USD. I've already seen it advertised for $3.2kUSD in the UK.

Close, but no banana. The hardware isn't white and no neck binding? Hardly a signature model for the money. Also 2 piece maple top and Gibson's
new "swiss cheese" chambering isn't the same as the older chambering, so I expect not as spectacular as the stats make it out to be. A shredder for sure, but the looks just aren't there. This should be a custom shop piece...

At least the ebony fretboard and fret dressing looks nice as usual! Alpine white with white binding is quite striking.

You are now my hero. Seriously, you have the best user name ever, and now this

Hard to get excited about a Les Paul though.

Those big ugly red dots are arcade style buttons that work as kill-switches.

You're thinking of his old guitar. This sig model is an EXACT replica of his 2009 touring guitar. It's what he wanted it to be.

The "swiss cheese" was the old weight relieving, now the guitars are almost completely chambered.
