Caparison has hit the UK!

http://www.machinehead.co.uk/

They're not cheap, but I'm happy for any fellow countryman that's been hankering after one.

Actually those prices are less than I expected. Awesome guitars, I'd love one.

I'd like one too. And yeah, I didn't think the prices were bad at all. I was expecting worse. But I would definitely consider one if/when I'm in the market for that type of guitar. They are as good as any. I think I would go with a Dellinger though.

I'd get the Horus. H/S pickups is my favourite config.

Re: Caparison has hit the UK!

Funny eneough, i may be off to Ikebe in Shibuya today to try out the Dellinger 7. I'm buying a coupla new guitars this year, a 6 & 7 (if all goes well and the WRX has no major problems at service time) and i'm trying to go non-Ibanez. They are really understated guitars and look ver well crafted so im hoping it plays fabulously too. I'll let ya know how it goes if i get up there today.

Here in Japan the prices are about equivelant to the more expensive prestige guitars (eg, RGT's which is about 15,000 yen more than a Horus) and Jem line so they seem very reasonably priced for the UK.

"Also for extra resonance, the "Apple Horn" logo is engraved deeply into the middle of the body" (To quote the machinehead web page)

I dont believe that this is true, if any one can say otherwise I'd like to hear it....

Re: Caparison has hit the UK!

I met Mattias "IA" Eklundh some days ago at a FG Clinic, he was really a Great Dude... you coud call him a "Funny Bastard"
I asked him if I could try the 2 guitars he used for the clinic and he said "Ofcourse, play the sh!t out of it!", and Good F*cking God!!... his Apple Horn's really kicked ass, the best guitars I have ever played!
The neck on those things was just incredible, 24.75" neck with 27 frets is the way to go... loved it, It was so unbelievable easy to play.. the fingers just flew around on the fingerboard!
... I have GAS for a Caparison Horus now so bad right now, I really want one
I have played one of Henrik Danhage's (Evergrey) signature Horus models to, and that guitar for sure was a Beast!
