Re: carvin guitar kits!! please help!!

I bought a bolt+ kit a few years ago. The bolt+ is the rear routed version. Mine was H-H. It played really well, was easy to assemble and set up. The biggest thing was doing the finishing. I just used tung oil and it was uber easy, but I hated waiting because I wanted to play it NOW! The only thing that I wasn't crazy about were the pickups. I liked them at first, but eventually I tired of them (M22SD and M22N). I eventually traded the guitar for a drumset for my son. I didn't really want to part with the guitar, but it was for my boy. If I were to do it again I would get stainless steel frets and then change out the pickups.

Ultimately, they are very nice guitars. It is a very safe purchase.

I got the fixed bridge because I am not a fan of Wilkinsons or any floating bridge. If I can't sit it flush with the body then I don't bother with it.
