I've never owned one, but I've played a few in the Carvin store in Hollywood.
The neck is very fat, very flat, and wide. It almost feels like a nylon
string acoustic neck.
The sound is tighter than the traditional semi-hollow, but still very resonant and harmonic.
It's a great guitar, but it's a huge departure from the traditional "shredders."
