cheap ass guitar

i've been looking for a cheap guitar just to practice with at school, i was thinking of getting maybe a fernandes revolver x series because they are cheap and i've heard they are good for the cheap price. If you guys have any other suggestions in this price range for a guitar with a floyd rose tremolo that has good tuning stablity.

Check your local pawn shops
I just came back from one
I saw a 1980's NJ Series BC Rich Warlock with a kahler tremolo for $149
a nice MIM Red Strat for $149

Re: cheap ass guitar

my local pawn shop has either fake guitars or guitars with like splits down the neck going for like 1 thousand dollars each, its a major rip off at this pawn shop. I saw a horribly damaged gibson sg from the 60's and it was priced at like 3k, it looked like some1 let if float in a pool for 2 years with the florida sun baking it, and it had like broken wood in some places. lol, what about maybe a squier stagemaster with 24 frets and a licensed floyd?

Re: cheap ass guitar

edge pro 2 is much better than any liscensed trem. its stability it nth liek the edge but keeps in tune much better then the trs or liscensed trem. but the edge pro 2 is a little stiff

Don't mean to spoil the discussion, but I got an infraction for posting an auction link, so look out.

there are recessed and non-recessed trems.

Im getting a baretta next year

Have a look at the Kramer Striker FR42CM, That has a recessed trem. They're supposibly good for the money too Ive heard.

Isn't that the thru-neck reverse headstock?

If so they look awesome.
