Check my new axe out

My new axe

And the guy included the shipping into the selling price as well. Quilt maple top, maple fretboard, dimarzio (??) pickups, locking tuners and _real_ Floyd Rose bridge. Should be here by around Thursday.

Nice axe! Carvin does make a nice guitar. I'm dying for a quilt top Holdsworth model.

Super nice score.
Carvin make some of the nicest guitars around but like Frank said in another thread, there is something wrong with the styling and that lets them down.
If their body/headstock shapes were as cool as their workmanship, they'd be taking over the world.

Very nice, indeed! And I'm a plain dot hater....

Too bad for the ding (it's position at least) but I guess you can fix that with a red marker or something. Enjoy it!

Yeah. I don't even care about the ding. I'll put some lacquer over it to protect the wood and that's it.

I never cared much for the looks of a lot of Carvins, but that one looks nice! The red works very nicely on that style! Congratulations!

Excellent guitar- I know you'll enjoy it! I still really dig my Carvin, and was impressed by the quality and sound.

Received the guitar today. Even had some time to play it over the lunch break. It's surprisingly light, and I'm liking the neck A LOT, despite the gloss finish on its back. Just what the doctor ordered. Sperzels rule and so does the original FR tremolo. The guitar looks better than on the pics. Looks like I'll have tons of fun with my new purchase over the weekend.

Heck, even the pickups are OK. Though I'm gonna try the new Carvin pickup (C22B or something like that) if I see it on ebay for cheap. This guitar has an Evolution in the bridge and I never liked Evolution (except if Steve plays it ).
