Clapton Strat. Need Jemsiters opinions

The LSR gearless tuners were designed by Ned Steinberger?

I knew Steinberger had done his own gearless tuner design, but the LSR tuners are totally different.

Back to the EC Strat....the neck is described as 'V' shaped. How would you compare it to say a Jem neck? Seems like people with small hands might have trouble getting around on it.
Also, can someone compare the EC neck to the SRV Strat neck.
I might want to try both the EC and SRV but I'll need to get to the guitar shop early in the morning so nobody I know sees me playing a F#nder...

The strat sounds swell though......go for it.

The neck profile on Clapton Strats is NOTHING like that of the SRV Strat. The SRV Strat neck is a friggin' baseball bat, it's HUGE. The Clapton Strat model neck is thinner, and literally shaped like a curved "V". Both guitars are fantastic, but IMHO, the Clapton Strat is the better of the two.

A friend of mine bought a red one brand new in 1990. It was awesome, but never had the vibe of my '56

I always wanted a Pewter one but Strats are jut too expensive. For the price of a EC I'd buy a Blade RH4.
