Growing up, Cort had a bad name in my circles. But I never actually played one.
I'd be willing to check them out.

I am pretty sure Cort makes/produces the lower line of
Ibanez Guitars
for Ibanez.

Loads of other guitars get made where the Corts do if I'm not mistaken. It's a bit like the Yamaha and the Samick factory I think.

ive actully got a lot of time for cort, very good build quality even on the budget end of the range and here's some pics (although not very good), will try and take a better one soon
Neil zaza model, one of my fav guitars ive ever played and avalible(if ya lucky) at a good price...goodtimes

whats the average cost of one of those zaza models? thats basically my perfect guitar in terms of specs, how does the quality compare to the ibanez prestige line?

cost me 850 pounds with case, ive not played many of the prestige so wouldnt be able to directly compare, but it does match up to my uv both playabillity and sound, i even prefer the seymours on the cort !!

The Cort's and the Shecters seem to fall in the same price quality category. My daughters Schecter with
ebony fret board
, nice maple top, 24 fret, set neck etc, seems to be a pretty darn nice guitar for under $700 new. And it look and awful like like some of the Cort's
