So, I went out to buy a Boss GT-10 the other day, and after finalizing the deal (wanted a few cables and such) I asked the store clerk if I could just plug the GT-10 in to make sure it was working and all. So he set it up, and gave me a
Cort X-6 to test it with. When I picked the guitar up, the first reaction was: why didn't he give me the nice Ibanez S series hanging in the wall to test? But I was kinda in a hurry so decided to focus on testing the Boss.
Still, while he was connecting the cables I started to examine the guitar and I was pleasantly suprised with. Seemed to be well built and the body is very comfortable to play with. The guitar wasn't well setup, had old strings and it was out of tune but it played ok in the circumstances. At the time, my head didn't quite put it together, but now it just clicked and I'm starting to feel some serious GAS for that guitar.
So with all that said, I have one question, that hopefully someone knows the answer: Is the floyd
trem that Cort uses in their guitars any good? Can I swap it easily with a OFR? I'll probably ask at the store the next time I'm there, but vendors not always have good insight on this stuff, so I ask here
