Custom guitar..... - Looking for a good luthier ??

Hello there,

Can someone recommend me a good luthier with resonable price which can make any custom body and neck using any woods that you preferred, also have lot's of knowledge about woods so he can choosing the right wood for you and can talk to you via e-mail ?

I'm looking for a totally custom guitar for my next guitar....and it would be based on the body of a PRS ( Sorry...but I've currently own 5 Ibanez so I think it's time to try other models ) but with a completely different hardware and also neck and headstock shape.

Used to be Frank Falbo can do works like this ( can do any model, have a lot of knowledge about woods and love to discus it with you and also the important thing is his excellent response...seems that he check his e-mail everyday ) but after he join up with guitar Wares, it's impossible to contact him again.

Check out GMW Guitars. They can cut you just about any body you want. They can finish it too, might save you money. I had a 550 custom painted by them and will be posting pics real soon.

Thanks Jimm...but their basic price is already expensive for me.
How much did they charge you ?

This is what I had done.

It should be here Friday. It was expensive. $600 total.
I had it done to a 550 body. They even painted the guard and pickups.

I've seen that guitar on GMW's site. Reminds me of the Angles Depart USA Custom Ibanez.

Hi Jimm,

Is there any ( pick ) guard ? I can't see it
I also don't see that they have paint the pickup

Please post another pics when it has been done
