Custom Guitar Workshop Australia?
Hey there. For over a year i have been watching a seller on feE - bay whom sells guitars under his brand "
custom guitar
workshop". There is a lot of positive feed back saying the guitars are well setup and good quality, he also states you can test the guitars at his place ect.
I was wondering if anyone here has tried any of his guitars.
I am interested in buying the floyd one or one of the steinberger copies he sometimes has.

Re: Custom Guitar Workshop Australia?
I dunno, they certainly aren't dear, but statements like "Top quality - made in Korea" just leave me a bit cold - lots of spelling mistakes in his ads could either reflect sloppiness, or the seller being illiterate!
If you can check the goods out in person, I'd certainly be doing so - AND buying the guitar you actually have in your hands!

Re: Custom Guitar Workshop Australia?
I've been curious about these, he says that the FR equipped ones come with geniune FRs. It would almost be worth buying one just for the trem. Problem is the photos don't show the trem clearly.

Re: Custom Guitar Workshop Australia?
Yeah i was thinking that. I dont believe that they are OFRS, he probably means genuine decent licenced trem. I asked about the action and setup a while back and he said they are setup well but if you do not like it for any reason you can refund it no questions asked.

They have updated and have a few new guitars as well as new pics. Looks VERY appealing.

Re: Custom Guitar Workshop Australia?
ive never heard of this company before this thread
but man..once again..people slamming people/companies cuz its the "cool" internet thing to do.
6 bad feedback and 925 GOOD feedback.
99.4 rating.
Try presenting all the facts other than the ones you "want" people to see.
sad.
And to add..
on every single bad feedback he offered the customer to return it, and didnt take
any personal attacks on the person.

Re: Custom Guitar Workshop Australia?
So if one of these guys buys one, its ok that they dont know its a peice of crap because they can just return it?
Id say most of the positives are mums buying instruments for there 6 year old kids. I trust the judgment of the negatives better.
Hes a mongrel, hes selling sh!t like its gold.

You trust 6 negative feedbacks over 925 positive ones.

Im not basing my opinion soley on the feedback, look at the descriptions, Most of the people buying these are kids thinking there getting "genuine
floyd rose
" and "TOP QUALITY" When its overwhelmingly obvious these things are peices of crap, and those trems are illegal fakes. If hes so good why dont you buy one and tell him how good his guitars are, I garentee youll be another one of those negative feedbackers.

Re: Custom Guitar Workshop Australia?
"Ever wishing you can get those guitars you see in the US market? well....Its finally here. Thanks to your support, we are proud to bring you our high quality range of guitars. These are design in the USA and are manufactured in KOREA! Yes. Quality. And best of all, the PRICE IS VEY LOW !! We dont even spend money on photograpy just to pass the savings to our customer. If you ask everyone who ever bought from us, they can tell you that these photos in the listing does not show the true quality of the workmanship of these guitars."
What a load of crap
"RRP $990"!!

Im not trying to go after you..
i just think both sides should be presented.
Yes i think its going over the line stating "genuine floyd rose"
but i think its also wrong to say they are "illegal fakes"
being that they "may" be licenced by..
I just think there would be a lot less than 99.4% positive feedback
out of 1000 ratings if the guy was a sham artist.
Personally if someone buys something for dirt cheap and expects
a "jem" (har har).. then thats their own stupidity.
I just bought a
les paul
copy on e--bay a couple days ago for $66 bux :P
Strictly just to mess around trying to paint it a Zakk W. bullseye.
Do I think it will sound or play like my jem..hardly.
