Custom strat project

So Ive been wanting a daphne blue strat for awhile. I cant find a daphne blue strat with 22 frets and a maple board. I also hate the 2 point tremolo on my american standard. Its the floating stlye so I cant do alternate tunings. I would really like a 6 point trem that sits flush with the body. Soooooo, I just bought a daphne blue strat body on the bay. It was loaded with everything but a neck, it also had a 6 point tremolo. So now im gonna get a 22 fret maple neck of the bay and Ill be set. So what do ya think?

Sounds cool. I've always wanted a surf green strat like that. Building strats is fun, eh?

Re: Custom strat project

So should I get a fender neck or a warmoth neck? And would a left handed USA fender neck fit?

Re: Custom strat project

I'd say warmoth, cheap and well made. Get an advanced neck that still looks vintage. Compound radius too, but hey that's me.

Really why a fender neck? Of course it's your decision but I just wonder why?
