long time ago, i opened a thread with this guitar but i lost the pics. i repeat here again.
this project is a
Ibanez Jem style. i will name
DC03 'JEM Fresno'. here the original idea:
but I had to change the project. the neck work of the "luthier" was very bad, so here is the new idea:
I think that now looks much better!!!
specifications DC03:
- Body: ash with clear pickguard and mahogany cover plates.
- Neck: Ibanez RG570 superwizard neck, made in Japan, AANJ, bubinga stripe.
- Bridge: Ibanez Lo Pro Edge.
- Tuners: Gotoh.
- Pickups: Ibanez HB2 (Rg565) on bridge, Dimarzio H4 on neck, and ibanez S1 single. balck colors.
- hardware: Gold.
- Finished: Natural honey or ambar.
i bought the body to sims custom shop (scs) from e-bay. his announcement said that it is a original ibanez body
.... later, i discovered that the body came from monsterguitarshop
. the body was very bad conditions and didn't fit anything, with many problems
. this was my first 'luthier' work and I was able to fix the body.
