Do you give your guitars names?

I'm just wondering, because in my band, my rytham guitarist has Tuloula and Barry, and I have Hodge and Clair (R.I.P baby).

So if anyone else names their guitars, feel free to share!

I've honestly never felt compelled to name my stuff.
The newest Jem that I've finished putting together bears my Wife's name at the 24th fret "Olympia" so that would be the only guitar I would consider named.

I have had:
Thelma (Epiphone acoustic)
Louise (Aria Pro II)
Charlotte (Jackson PS-4)
Ripple (RG420)
Shaman (Ovation CS257)

For some reason I haven't named my current crop of guitars:
RG2020
RGT3120
Ovation 12 String
Jackson DK-2
Jackson DK-3

Just waiting for the mood to strike me, I guess.

Yeah, I have a couple of names for my guitars:

The Strat
The Yamaha
The Gibson

My rack, however, does have a name: "The Black Bomber". It was Christened in jest by the drummer in my band after we took a hiatus from the funk and switched to the "Rectumfrier" setting on my preamp for some "Juggajuggajugga" riff action.

They're tools to do a job. Don't get me wrong, I do 'connect' with my guitars and I particularly love my bashed old Strat but I've never felt a need to give it a name. TBH I'va always thought that naming guitars was a bit weird unless you have 10 that all look the same and need to name them for stage use etc a la SSV.

That and if you are a 90 year ol Misissippi blues master who has been playing the same Gibbo L5 for 75 years.

The only guitar I've ever named is my DNA. It's named "Angel" after my wife Angela, who was kind enough to buy it for me Best X-mas gift EVER!
