Does anyone know pickups??

Anyone know what pickups are in a 88 washburn ec 29?

I don't know what they are, they say washburn on them....

But I heard emg made them...well 20 years ago...lol

So I am wondering if I should upgrade them..I know nothing of pickups..

Do you like the way they sound? If so, keep them. Otherwise trash them and put in something else!

They are 20 years old..and they are the said to be the worst pick ups ever made..

They sound good to me..just wondering if some of you guys know pickups...
