Double Neck

Anyone have any experience with any (Mostly affordable) double necks (6-12)?
All I can find is the Epi's, Gibsons and old OLPs.

I have the epi, good guitar but upper fret acess is *rubbish*.

Carvin double necks show up on the bay all the time, usually going for around 800-1000 dollars. The model for the double neck with 12 strings is the Carvin DN612.

Double necks are a huge pain in the butt unless you absolutely need one for performing live.

I had a double neck Alavarez Yairi acoustic for a little while and found it to me completely impractical. I sold it within a few months.
