can you post an example of how the dragonburst finish look like? because on google images I found different versions (blue-yellow, blue-green, green-yellow, etc.)

Yeah absolutely dude. It will definitely be blue-green-turqoise, no yellow. Somewhere along these lines:

Pickup routes are done, my luthier shot me over some photos to see if i liked the positioning of the knobs and input jack. Thought I'd share :

Next step: headstock inlay, and finally finishing. I'll probably get some color opinions from you guys once the first pics of the finish come in.

Make sure to put a flushed mounted jack and not a combo jack/plate. Those just look cheesy IMO. Also, double check the top of the headstock, from the pictures you posted, it looks as if the angle is not centered with the line:

P.S.: I totally dig the inlays and the quilted book matched maple.

), but you can rest assured everything is straight and proper everywhere. This is the 3rd time I'm workin' with him. And thanks! I'll have better inlay pics (outdoor ones) later tonight for your viewing pleasure.

. More of an even transition, and more colorful. I'm planning a gradual dark blue to green transition, with lighter blue and turqoise in between. We're gonna try a few different options on some scrap quilted maple and see how I feel about it.

Thanks man

. Took a while to find that perfect piece. I believe it'll look incredible finished if it looks this good dry. It's ok though, I'm jealous of you for living in Italy. It's my favorite place in the world. I vacationed in Milan, Venice, and a few smaller places like Sarrono (probably messed up the spelling) a few summers ago and I've been wanting to go back ever since.

Hey folks, should have more pictures in a day or two. My luthier was a tad tied up with some personal stuff, but it should still be done in 2 weeks time or so. Fretboard is taken care of, all the sanding is done, all that's left is finishing and hardware installation
