EBMM JP6 trem
What do you guys think of the
EBMM JP6 trem
system? Are they stable without being a lock trem system? Try the guitar multiple time and really like the feel of the neck but never try the trem.

Info on their own site tend to be bias to how good it is. Just trying to get feed back from personal experience from EBMM JP6 user that is not bias.

Re: EBMM JP6 trem
It is terrific and fully floating. I miss having fine tuners, but without a locking nut it isn't that big of a deal. Smooth, reliable and even has nice flutter.

Re: EBMM JP6 trem
the trem system is probly the best and easiest to set up , out of any trem ive ever played , imho beats the edge pro,zr,schaller, kahler etc.
if you get a jp6 youll never regret it IMO, gret for metal

Re: EBMM JP6 trem
The trem is better than most non-locking trems and as long as you don't "seriously" use the whammy it's fine. I've never had a use for a Piezo system which is the other plus-point for the system.
Frankly in my view, the JP6 doesn't do anything the JS1000 doesn't do better (apart from the colour choice and matching headstock).

...and 24 frets.
I broadly agree about the JP6, though the more recent JPX, JPXI ans JP12 are quite different beasts, nothing like a JS1000 aside from the pickup configuration. I have a JPXI-7, and love the trem. I wanted a non locking 7, and there's not much choice. It'll not give the range a locking trem does, but it is perfectly stable when set up right. The neck is wonderful too.

Re: EBMM JP6 trem
I did pick up a EBMM JP6 Mystic Dream without the piezo. I sold my RG1550 as I love the neck on the JP6. Can't believe how good the trem system is for a non-locking system.
