Just got her, so no review yet. *Also I haven't really played at all in the last 3 months so I'm pretty rusty. *For those of you who were into getting blue dawn pics these should help out some.

You get the boobie price for the longest JPM to build, so far
Ordered around 2/15, and finally in your hands 10/18. All the rest have stuck to 5 and 6 months. Dude, I apreciate how cool, calm, and *patiently* you waited for it, that was a long time! Then again I'm used to waiting 8 and 9 months for new arrivals

EBMM JPM 6 - Finally got it!
Well the best compliment I can give it so far was that after not really playing for 3 months or so I took it out of the case, plugged it in, tuned it (heh), and then started playing some DT on it and the guitar felt very familiar already even though it came with 10's on it and I normally play 9's. *I haven't decided if I'm going to put 9's on it or not, I have a bunch of packs sitting right next to my amps but I may leave the 10's on.
I'm still not super sure about the pickups. *The middle position is louder than I expected (based on Ibanez JPM), so is the
neck pickup
(which is probably why the middle pos. is louder). *I normally play
bridge pickup
almost exclusively and it sounded very familiar. *My mesa was still dialed in for my Ibanez JPM and it sounded great without changing settings. *My Marshall was dialed in for my 7VWH, but it sounded good anyway.
I'll give a better report as soon as I don't feel like puking (went to a huge party last night).
Special thanks go out to Rich for tracking this axe down for me. *If any of you decide to buy one I recommend Rich with no reservations.

Very nice!
I want mine dammit!
Go get it for me Rich. :silly:
Also, trying lowering the neck pickup a bit if it's too loud, get it a little farther away from the strings, this may do what you're looking for.

I love that color! I wish I'd seen one before I placed my order...actually, mentally I need to play light color guitars.
It's a beauty. Congratulations and enjoy!

Yeah I might try lowering it, I guess the real shocker is how hot the middle position is. *I guess I need to play with it some more and adjust my clean settings.
The 7 string I ordered I picked pearl redburst, no inlays. *I like burst colors, especially since there really aren't Ibanez bursts so I've been burst deprived for a long time.

I hope you won't be bummed out when you get the redburst. *I have a 6-string in that color (thanks Rich!) and it's gorgeous, but it sure doesn't look very bursty to me. *Or even that red for that matter. *It's more of a dark reddish purple (one person thought it was black!) that's pretty evenly colored throughout. *Your blue guitar is WAY more of a burst.
Congrats on a great guitar!
