I'm eyeballing one of these bad boys.
You can find them at a good rate here:

You see those pop up on the "Gear Page" from time to time.

I'm just kind of eye-balling the exchange rate, but they look to be a little high compared to Ikebe-Gakki's prices.

Make sure you're comparing apples to apples.
There are a number of different models that vary in price.
The higher end models seem to fall right in line with Gakki's costs.

Didn't compare the one you were looking at, but I was looking at the E-LP-92SD/QM not that long ago, and the price from Gakki worked out to be about $680, and they have it for $736. Probably varies from model to model.

Re: Edwards guitars
How much does Gakki charge for shipping?
It was 150.00 to the USA from the company I linked to.

Re: Edwards guitars
Not sure, I never checked with them. Ended up buying a Gibson Goddess SG instead.

Re: Edwards guitars
Really? You bought one of their girl guitars?
I didn't know they still made that line. How does it compare to a regular SG

Re: Edwards guitars
Yes, they stopped making them maybe a year or two ago.
It sounds nice, and the neck is quite thin, a bit thicker than my RGs and maybe I think a bit thinner than the Jacksons I've played. Intonation is quite close considering it is one of those wraparound bridges without an intonation adjustment on it, but might just replace it eventually with one that does.
It is also quite pretty, got the Violet burst one.

Re: Edwards guitars
So I ended up getting a deal on an Edwards LP98-LTS.
Got it for $627.00
I've been an Ibanez RG guy for a LONG time, and knew the floating trems sapped
some
sustain. I play a note on the LP and am amazed at how long it rings ! ! !
Un***king believable! ! !
The fit and finish on this guitar is amazing!
I can't find a single flaw on it.
I was over on the lespaul forums and even the hard core Gibson fans acknowledge the quality.
The only thing I would change would be the fret size, I'd opt for jumbos, but that is preference, not build quality.
Oh yeah, and I found this case on MF for 69 bucks.
Its a Kaces Grafix series down from $99-$149.00
I actually wanted a rising sun style, but if nothing else, it'll keep the jackasses who swear you have to buy American to get a good product at bay.
