Anyone know where to buy an Ernie Ball JPM for the best price? *My friend is looking for the base 6 string model. *I think we saw it at Guitar Center for $1400 but I am not sure.

Contact Rich Harris at Ibanez Rules.

He does the EB/MM JP's as well.

Just got a Red Pearl Burst - all options for 1311 shipped off ebay.. one month old... Had made a deal on a blue dawn as well, but told the guy i got the red one, but would buy his as well since we made a deal on it already.. 1400 shipped for the blue dawn (as new condition) - full option package as well (as they should be had). *I felt bad lying or whatever to the guy *(i hadnt paid for the blue dawn yet....), so told him i would honor my word.. but - havnt heard back from him, so not sure if i will have one OR two JP's...*Keep yer eyes open man, they are out there, and the depressed economy helps.. One more thing - I played Vaijem777's JP (full option with mystic dream finish) and I must say - it's better than the Ibanez JP guitars, of which I have owned 2.... Incredible feel, light, GREAT piezo (blows my Tom Anderson away).... The neck tho.... it's like putting your hands around Brittny Spears' neck...ahhh..

Going off topic a bit,I checked out a JPM yesterday. The best thing was the finish.

OH MY GOD

I think it was autumn redburst with matching headstock and shields.

If the guitar itself was more to my liking, the finish would be the clincher. But tat guitar is just not me And that upsets me!!!

Even worse, the mere mention of the name 'Britney' in a JPM thread... ugh.

Nevertheless, she has a nice neck, like the JPM. But i think the JP will squeel better under 'rough handling'.....

Did I mention the contour of the JP being similar to ole Britt? hahaha

That guy must have really fallen on hard times, that's a pretty awesome price for whatcha got, he's out at least 300 on the guitar (and 400 on the camera!) unless he's a dealer, in which case his loss will be substantially less.

*I have not seen a single tricked out Petrucci sell for anything less than $1600. *

On that note, would you wear someone else's underwear? *No? *Then why would you want someone else's initials on your fretboard? *The signature on the headstock is acceptable, but those inlays have to go. Just MHO not a flame.

Rich's price on new Petruccis is dead nutz on, if you're buying new, you'd be foolish to shop elsewhere. *All of the other dealers selling on eBay are raping people at $1700+.

whoa... how can you equate someone's underwear to a fretboard inlay? :read:
