ESP LTD M-1000 Deluxe

I just played one of these today and it actually was a nice guitar. Normally I hate ltds and am not a real big fan of fullfleged esps either( i have owned several and do not have any of them any more). I found it to be a extremly nicely made guitar and the sound was very clean. and here is the real kicker the guitar is korean made. Anyway I was wondering if anyone else has played one and what one think of it.

never had one,
but last week a buddy brought me his MH-300 to have it setup and... my gawd! it's a little jewel!
extremely well done, luthiery-wise, nice woods, neck-thru, beautiful carved maple top, and two nice nice EMG-HZ passive pickups, beautiful sound, rich of harmonics and sustain.
quite a nice guitar.
oh, another cool thing is that the pickups can be attached/detached just by a clip system beneath them, cause they're connected with a PC-ish micro-connector... pretty easy for a tech!

I tried one at a store for a few minutes but the store's AC was out so I didn't spend more than a couple of minutes with it.

It was an ok guitar but it didn't grab me particularly, and I know it may well have been the heat but it would not stay in tune. I will give it a more thorough trial when I have the time.

It looks great though, but for a list price of £1499, which is £200 MORE than a JEM7dbk, it should, shouldn't it?

The singer in our band owns a MH-307. It is a very good guitar, with only one disadvantage: the pickups. EMG:s passive Hz models are among the worst I have heard ever. Luckily, they are the same size as the real deal (EMG 81:s, 85:s and 707:s) so replacing them with good stuff was easy. After that, this is a masterpiece.

Well the LTD Deluxe range have top flight pickups installed, Seymour Duncans (not Duncan Designed) and real EMGs so that's one thing in their favour
