ESP NJFC???

I have a 2006 ESP Lynch Sunburst Tiger. I just took it out of its case to play it for a few minutes and noticed a NJFC! It's on the bass side and is about 1/4". I bought the guitar a couple of months ago off a guy that had bought it new a couple months before and realized he overextended his budget after the fact. To be honest, I never really had a good feel for the guitar. I bought it because I thought it looked cool and I know ESPs (not LTDs) are not always easy to find. I never really liked the neck radius and the guitar is heavy as hell being a maple body. The guitar is in mint condition other than the damn crack! I think I'll probably just sell it. Anyways, has anyone heard of ESPs getting NJFCs?

Actually, I went and looked at current & closed auctions on the bay. There were a couple Kamikazis which had about the same size crack in the same spot. The Kamikazis and Sunburst Tiger are the same guitar other than the paint/graphics. So, it must be common in these guitars like it was in the older Jems. One of the listings actually stated it was common.

lots of bolt ons suffer from neck joint cracks. doesn't really mean they've been abused. could have resulted during shipping at one point
