Thats the best post of this thread.. Haahahhahaha

For the record maybe this thread did go south.. But I had the best intentions on trying to let the guy know it was a fake.. I dont believe in rebadging things. If its a Squier its a Squier etc. And to see that custom shop logo on something that is obviously not hits a chord with me. And I still believe its a terrible job and thats my opinion im allowed to have it. Trust me I get more bashing then anyone.. Did anyone see the $4k Sadowsky I did, that really ruffled some feathers with the bass community. Anyways

I welcome anyone to the relic world. Im not afraid of competition I know my work speaks in volumes and yes I have been contacted by some rather large companys which I am not at liberty to discuss at this moment. So im not afraid of anyone stepping on my toes.

If you guys remember I made a tutorial LOL..

Anyways when I seen the logo, and then the words trade offers it really pissed me off, cause its people who give the relic'ers a bad name by misleading people. Not saying the original poster has.. And it just hits me wrong when people pass something off for something its not.. If he said some dude made this for me it would of been fine.. But he didnt he mentioned Fender Custom Shop, COA's, Neckplates giving off the vibe it was a custom Fender.

I PMd him and told him no disrespect was intended.

So on that note... Carry on.

Ibanez Collector.... or Brent, I'm glad you have a sense of humor... I'm sure I'll be hearing about the EJ and Doppler comment for the next month.

Yes, in my original post, I did write about COA's and Neckplates.... the comment was "this doesn't have one."

This guitar is a Warmoth body, and a 1994 MIJ neck...nothing being hidden here.

For example...if we look at your thread on the "John Mayer Relic" you made, I recall several comments like:

"That doesn't look good at all."
"I don't like it, it looks fake."
And I think it was Drew who said "I have a hard time believing that someone would pay you $1500.00 to do this, especially out of All Parts materials."

So.... you were probably the last person on the forum I expected negative press from as you are so used to taking it yourself.

I assure you, this MIJ 50's Reissue Neck and Warmoth Ash Body are at least twice the quality of anything from All Parts I've ever touched.

I saw your Mayer thread when it was still very active for several pages..... and to be honest, I didn't really care for it. But I wouldn't dare post that in a public forum as what would it gain anyone? Certainly not respect.... and I wouldn't do that as at the time you were probably putting alot of hours in it.

No, this guitar is not a USA Fender Custom Shop. I never pretended it to be.
However, it is not a Squier either that someone has done on a lazy Sunday afternoon.....

If you don't like it.... thats cool.
But please don't call it something its not.
Many people on here collect Jem's.... if I referred to someones 777 as a 555 ten times, they probably would start getting a little upset.

The back of the neck looks really really bad.
In fact it looks so bad I can not believe a licensed guitar builder did that.

I think you should spend couple of hours and sort it out.
