Fender Classic 50's Stratocaster is mine!

Just ordered a 50's Classic Strat, in 2-Tone Sunburst of course. Should be here next Wednesday or Thrusday, then I'll post some pics for you. Man, I just love that guitar, 60's Classic felt great but 50's Classic felt even better. In the end I realized that soft V-neck was better for me than C-neck. Although at first I was a bit scared if I don't like the sound of maple fretboard but then I thought what heck I'm gonna change the pups anyway so maple shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks guys!

I tried the Eric Johnson model too and it felt great. Nice neck and it looks sweet in 2-tone sunburst. Unfortunately it cost way too much for me and if I had over 1200$ to spend I would have bought American Deluxe HSS Stratocaster.

Nice, congrats, Strats are cool. I love mine. I think every guitarist should have one in their arsenal. Post a pic when you get it.

By the way, I have been dying to try out an EJ Strat for quite some time. Eric Johnson is one of my favorite guitarists and I have heard nothing but great things about his Strat.

I wouldn't sweat the EJ, or the deluxe HSS for that matter. The 50's strat has a very good quality body and neck, and it's a strat so you can mod to your hearts content in the future.
