I've got one in fiesta red from the first batch in 96. It's a little awkward feeling at first due to the
body shape, but it's a nice guitar. Fender Japan was known for producing good quality instruments and they didn't disappoint here.
The necks much slimmer than most Fender products and is much closer to a Wizard in depth and shape. It's a little narrower and the guitar itself is a shorter scale at 24 inches. One of the downsides to the neck is you can only adjust the truss rod from the bottom and there's no cutaway in the body, so you have to pop it off.
Overall it's a fun guitar that's easy to use for rock or blues and whle the pickups are nothing special, they're not bad. There's a 3 way selector for each - in phase, out of phase, and off.
