Fender Jaguar w/ Maple Fretboard?

My mate thinks I'm full of **** but I sware I have seen a Fenger Jaguar with a Maple Fretboard.

Anyone know if I'm imagining it or not?

The guitarist from Smashmouth had a signature model for that one year they were really popular. It was essentially a Jaguar with a maple board. I don't have pics, but I know I've seen it around.

Very early prototypes may have had maple boards, ive seen a Jazzmaster with one.

Jazzmasters were available with maple boards with block inlys for awhile.

Anything is possible with the custom shop... but Jaguars did not get maple.

They were never available with a maple neck, not in the the U.S or Europe anyway. Its only prototypes from the 50's that had them.
The one that has been seen might have been modded.

There were, ive seen pictures of george fullerton and leo fender playing them in a book. It also says so in the Fender book.
